UPDATE: UF Ped Safety Outreach

Continued outreach

The UF Pedestrian Safety Outreach is growing.  UPD officers will step-up efforts in the areas of campus with concentrations of pedestrians.  One Thursday March 4th UPD requested 1,000 pieces of literature.  By mid-day Friday they needed more.  This round-the-clock type of outreach allows contact with pedestrians that may not encounter the usual lunch time outreach.  

SRC Staff will be at the Plaza of the Americas distributing armbands and educational material Wednesday March 10th from 11:00-1:00 pm. They will be joined by FDOT reps from Lake City and Jacksonville.
